Provence hosts regular brocante (antique/vintage) markets throughout the year. One of the best known is the twice yearly International Antiques & Flea Market of l'Isle-sur-la-sorgue. With up to 300 exhibitors & 100,000 visitors, it is the 2nd largest market in Europe (Paris is the largest). 2026 dates are 2-4 April & 13-16 August.
Travelling around, you will regularly see signs advertising Brocante with the dates. brocante is for general level antiques/vintage items, belle brocante is for higher quality items, vide grenier is 'empty your attic' sales & marché aux puces is the term for 'flea market'.

Every Sunday From 9,00 to 18,00, Avenue des Quatre Otages hosts a large outdoor flea market. This weekly event is a true paradise for bargain hunters looking for great finds, friendly atmosphere and the extent of the stands make bargain hunters very happy.
