Wine, Truffles & Olives around Vaugines

 On the road between the villages of Lourmarin and Cucuron, CHATEAU LA SABLE  cultivates a total of 15 hectares of vines, which benefit from exceptional terroir & climate.  The entire estate is certified organic.

 CHATEAU FONTVERT is a family estate of approximately 50 hectares, including 25 hectares of biodynamically cultivated vineyards. The estate's land has been cultivated since Roman times. 

  The DOMAINE DE SANNES is surrounded by the castles of La Tour d’Aigues, Lourmarin, Cucuron, and Ansouis. The hillside of Sannes slopes gently, is sunny, and lies close to streams and shaded valleys.  

CHATEAU LACOSTE is an extravagant wine domaine with restaurants, art installations & hotels, it is worth venturing the 22km into the Bouches du Rhone region to visit this extraordinary place.  

CHATEAU LA VERRERIE includes 57 hectares of vineyards with clay-limestone soil, the stony scree of the Luberon massif, a south-facing slope, and vines planted in the direction of the mistral wind.

DOMAINE LA CAVALE offers wine tasting at one of their tasting tables. Cellar tours are also available upon reservation.

Visit  BASTIDE DU LAVAL to learn  about olive oil production & to taste their delicious oils.  Their oils have been adopted by some of the most renowned restaurant chefs (Michel & César Troisgros or Fabrice Desvignes from Elysée). 

Only 4km from your apartment, PROVENCE EN BOUTEILLE produce Lavender and Lavandin Essential Oil, lavender honey & black truffle.  Their shop is open most days & Truffle hunts are available in season.

LES TERRASSES D'ADRIEN offers visits, tastings and walks in the middle of their vineyards and olive trees with a stylish shop & tasting bar for both wine & their olive oils.
